Confirmation Workshop (Beginner & Advanced)
This workshop will be broken into two groups, beginner and advanced, and will examine key equity derivative transaction confirmation provisions. The beginner session assumes no previous knowledge of the 2002 Equity Derivatives Definitions, while the advanced session assumes some previous knowledge of these areas and will spend less time on the basics. The workshop will examine key provisions under the 2007 European Master Equity Confirmation Agreement (Multiple Exchange Index Annex, Cash/Physically-settled European/American Index/Share Option and Annex EFS (Cash-settled Equity Finance Share Swap)) as well as a representative swap and option 'long form' confirmation, including the following areas:
