Determinations Committee FAQs

  1. How do I submit a request to the Determinations Committees?
    Answer: Requests to the determinations committee can only be made through the form available at the following link: http://www.isda.org/dc/dcrequest2.asp. The form indicates the information that we will post (with the exception of contact information) on the website once a request goes to one of the determination committees. Before submitting your request, please check that the request has not been submitted already.

  2. How do I receive updates on determinations by the Determinations Committees?
    Answer: Requests to the committees and updates following meetings of the committees will be posted immediately on the ISDA website on the Credit Derivatives page at http://www.isda.org/credit. In order to stay up to date on requests to any of the 5 committees and the status of the requests the committees are considering, you can subscribe to our RSS feed, which allows you to receive updates by e-mail or through a news aggregator.   3. How do I check the status of a request I have submitted?
    Answer: All requests that have been posted and their status are listed on the View All Requests page. The top five recently updated requests are listed on the Credit Page

  4. Where can I find answers to hardwiring questions?

  5. Where can I find out what the different status and outcome terms mean?
    Answer: The column headings Current Status and Outcome are links to a Glossary page containing a brief description of each status and outcome.

  6. Where can I find the most recent version of the Credit Derivatives Physical Settlement Matrix?
    Answer:  The most recent version of the Matrix can be found here.

  7. I have a general question relating to CDS should I send the request to the DC using the online form?
    Answer:
      No.  Any question submitted here will be raised for official determination by the relevant Determinations Committee. For general questions please email cdsquestions@isda.org.

  8. Are the Auction results published by ISDA?
    Answer:  No.  The auction is administered by Markit and Creditex and the results are posted on www.creditfixings.com.
