ISDA®'s mission includes several educational objectives. One is to advance international public understanding of derivatives activity. Another is to promote the development of sound risk management practices. Still another is to educate members and others on legislative, regulatory, legal, documentation, accounting, tax, operational, technological issues affecting derivatives participants. ISDA's primary means of advancing these objectives is its international series of conferences; another is its press releases. The purpose of this page is to point toward other educational resources regarding derivatives, including the following:

• Product descriptions of swaps and other OTC derivatives, along with some frequently asked questions regarding derivatives.

• A bibliography of selected references on derivative contracts, derivatives documentation, risk management, and credit measurement and management. The bibliography is by no means exhaustive.

• An overview of ISDA derivatives documentation.

• Links to other websites pertaining to derivatives and risk management.
