20th Anniversary Documentary Previews at
Barcelona AGM
Delegates at ISDA’s 20th Annual General Meeting held in Barcelona this March received a sneak preview of a forthcoming documentary chronicling the history of the association and the derivatives industry. Slated to appear at ISDA’s 20th Anniversary Celebration in London on May 11, the video documentary charts the progress of privately negotiated derivatives and the role that ISDA has played and continues to play in that progress.

Trading Book Review
The Working Group set up in 2004
by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision and the International
Organization of Securities Commissions to review the capital treatment
of certain trading book items (known as the Trading Book Review)
published a Consultation Paper on April 11. A parallel consultation
was launched by the EU Commission regarding the amendments necessary
to incorporate the Trading Book Review within the draft Capital
Requirements Directive.
