MEDIA ADVISORY: ISDA’s 17TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

 

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association is holding its 17th Annual General Meeting in Berlin, Germany April 16-19, 2002. ISDA’s AGM is the preeminent event of the derivatives and risk management industry and will include leading speakers from the industry and government. Members of the media are invited to attend this members-only event.

 

WHAT:                  ISDA’s 17TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

 

AGM 2002 will feature discussions on a number of key derivatives and risk management issues, including:

 

w              Global derivatives public policy issues

w              Derivatives industry business issues

w              Implementation of the Euro

w              European emerging markets

w              Basel Capital Accord Reform

w              E-trading systems and ISDA technology initiatives

 

Social events include receptions at the Museum für Kommunikation, the Gemäldegalerie and the City Hall of Berlin.
