ISDA ANNOUNCES ONE-YEAR U.S. DOLLAR
SWAP RATE POSTINGS AS OF SEPTEMBER 17, 2001
NEW YORK, Monday,
September 17, 2001 – The International Swaps and Derivatives Association
(ISDA) today resumed publication of
one-year U.S. Dollar swap rates on Reuters page ISDAFIX®3 with a 2:00 p.m.
fixing. The U.S. Dollar rates had not
been published after Monday, September 10 due to the
“ISDA believes it is
important to continue supporting orderly markets,” according to Jonathan
Moulds, Head of Global Rates at Bank of America, ISDA Board Member and Chair of
ISDA’s Trading Practice Committee. “ISDA considers the publication of the U.S.
Dollar ISDAFIX® to be a meaningful market contribution”.
The U.S. dollar par swap
rates are part of a series of rates for different currencies sponsored by ISDA
and published by Reuters Limited based on information obtained from dealers by Garban Intercapital plc. Rates for euro, Sterling, Swiss francs and
Japanese yen, as well as U.S. dollar swap spreads, are available on various
Reuters ISDAFIX® pages. ISDAFIX® Rates in these currencies have continued to be
posted without interruption. Further
