This panel will cover regulatory developments as they relate to environmental, social and governance (ESG) derivatives, including the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s consultation on climate risk. The session will also look at the development of contractual standards for environmental and ESG-related derivatives products, as well as how firms are incorporating climate risk issues into their risk management and investment agendas.

Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is becoming a priority for many financial institutions for performance, risk and regulatory reasons, and is also an increasing focus for investors as part of environmental, social and governance strategies. This panel will examine the role diversity and inclusion plays in the derivatives market, and the tangible impact it can have on financial firms. It will also discuss challenges and best practices that firms should consider when developing a robust DEI program.
