In preparation for the final global phase-in periods for regulatory initial margin on September 1, 2021 (Phase 5) and September 2, 2022 (Phase 6) when an increased number of entities are expected to be in scope for the initial margin regulations, ISDA has adopted a streamlined licensing process for its ISDA SIMM™ in order to ensure your firm is able to utilize the model in preparation for these deadlines. There is no fee charged by ISDA to Phase 5 and Phase 6 entities for use of the ISDA SIMM.
