ISDA has recorded a webinar to introduce its conceptual paper on the ISDA Common Domain Model (CDM). The paper lays out a possible design framework for the CDM, which is intended to provide a standardized, digitized representation of derivatives trade lifecycle events and actions. Such a common representation will help realize the full potential of emerging technologies, such as distributed ledger and smart contracts.
The webinar explains what the CDM is, and sets out the next steps in its development. It also describes the ways that participants from all corners of the derivatives industry can provide feedback and get involved with the project.
