The committee consists mainly of front office and business people. The Steering Committee aims to address market practice and business matters of topical concern and also determines the overall strategy and direction of ISDA’s activities.

The working group consists of senior legal people based in HK and Singapore. The aim of the group is to provide strategic guidance and leadership to ISDA on its legal and regulatory efforts in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as to provide a platform for discussion and debate on legal and regulatory issues of topical concern.

The group consists mainly of legal professionals and holds monthly meetings in Singapore. Legal and regulatory developments in Asia-Pacific (with a focus on South Asia), as well as notable developments in the rest of the world, and ISDA initiatives and efforts in the preceding month are discussed at the meeting.

The Asia-Pacific Equity Derivatives Operations Working Group consists of equity derivatives operations people in the Asia-Pacific region. The group aims to address any equity derivatives operational issues in the region.

The Australia Distribution List addresses topical issues of importance to ISDA members active in this jurisdiction, such as submissions on proposed new laws and regulations.

The ISDA Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Distribution List will conduct discussions around the use of arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution in derivatives transactions globally. This includes the development of model language for arbitration and jurisdiction clauses in the ISDA Master Agreement and work on future versions of the ISDA Arbitration Guide.

This sub-distribution list coordinates its activities and shares information with the APAC WGMR Implementation Group. It was set up to discuss legal and documentation issues relating to the implementation of the APAC WGMR rules.

The purpose of this group is to discuss Article 28(2) of the European Benchmark Regulation, its impact on the derivatives market and potential documentation approaches towards compliance.

This covers all regulatory implementation aspects associated with cleared margin, clearinghouse capital and resolution.

The Asia-Pacific-India working group addresses business and regulatory issues of importance to ISDA members in this region. In view of enacted and pending legislation in India, there have been increasing efforts in the region to address these issues.
