This document explains and sets out representations and undertakings for use by a party when entering into an ISDA Master Agreement or any other agreement with a counterparty in connection with listed or over-the-counter transactions and/or products which are linked to (i) securities traded on the Taiwan Stock Exchange or Taipei Exchange (“Taiwan Listed Securities”) , (ii) futures transactions which make reference to Taiwan Listed Securities or (iii) indices the components of which consist of Taiwan Listed Securities which would involve such party investing in Taiwan Listed Securities under its “foreign financial institutional investor” (“FINI”) status under the “Regulations Governing Investments in Securities by Overseas Chinese and Foreign Nationals” to invest in Taiwan Listed Securities for hedging or other purposes.   This document replaces the previous versions published on September 20, 2019 and November 11, 2013.
