Climate Risk has become a focus for banks and financial institutions, especially as regulatory expectations have become more stringent, requiring firms to understand and assess both short term and long-term financial risks associated with climate change. Understanding the potential impact of climate risk on the financial system is of increasing importance, but the uncertainty associated with climate change makes it very difficult to build this understanding. This event aims to provide insights into work being done across the industry from a Regulatory, Industry and Academic stance point and to help better understand the some of the challenges faced.
