Joint Associations Letter on UK CCP Equivalence and Recognition

On December 12, ISDA and eleven other trade associations, representing a broad group of market participants, sent a letter to Commissioner Albuquerque requiring that the European Commission extends the equivalence decision for UK central counterparties (CCPs) in a non-time-limited manner and well in advance of March 31, 2025. The current time-limited equivalence decision is set to expire on June 30, 2025.
