ISDA Elects 12 Board Members

MONTREAL, April 23, 2015 – The International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA) announced today the election of 12 directors at its 30th Annual General Meeting in Montreal.

Two new directors were elected. They are:

• Yasunobu Arima, General Manager, Global Markets Planning Division, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd (BTMU)• Sam Skerry, Global Head of Structured Products and IST Commercial Support, BP plc

“We welcome Arima-san and Sam to the ISDA Board of Directors and look forward to working with them as ISDA continues to ensure that the global derivatives markets remain safe and efficient,” said Eric Litvack, ISDA Chairman. “ISDA will benefit greatly from their experience and expertise across various market segments and regions.”

Biography of the two new directors:

Yasunobu Arima is General Manager of the Global Markets Planning Division at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd (BTMU), where he has been responsible for global regulatory affairs relating to derivatives and market business since 2012. After joining BTMU in 1987, he was responsible for retail banking (1987-1990) and derivatives business in Tokyo (1990-1995), structuring (1995-2000) and equity proprietary trading (2000-2002) in London, and equity secondary business planning (2002-2010) and head of equity research (2010-2012) at the bank’s security subsidiary in Tokyo. Mr. Arima graduated from Hitotsubashi University.

Sam Skerry is Global Head of Structured Products and Commercial Support for BP’s Integrated Supply and Trading business. Based in London, she leads a global cross-commodity derivatives marketing team and central marketing, strategy and trading analytics functions. She previously served as BP’s Chief Operating Officer for Gas, where she led the company’s natural gas marketing, origination and transportation operations for North America.

Ms. Skerry has held a number of international leadership roles in BP for a broad range of global businesses, including Senior Vice President for Strategy & Commercial Development. Ms. Skerry was part of the core transaction team responsible for the creation and financial structuring of the former TNK-BP joint venture in Russia and is a former director of Green Mountain Energy Company.

Ms. Skerry holds a BA (Hons.) in English Literature from the University of East Anglia in England and has completed executive education with INSEAD and London Business School.
