  • Total sponsored cleared repo activity (typically clients) declined by 4.4% to $2.3 trillion in August 2026, accounting for 30.8% of total cleared repo activity.
  • Sponsored cleared bilateral repo volumes totaled $1.6 trillion in August 2026, down by 4.7% from July 2026, while sponsored cleared triparty repo volumes were $0.7 trillion, a drop of 3.7% from July 2026.
  • Direct cleared repo activity (typically dealers that are direct clearing members) totaled $5.2 trillion in August 2026, a fall of 3.1% from July 2026.
