The Derivative Operations Group is responsible for addressing post-trade operational challenges and opportunities for the derivatives industry (cross asset class), including infrastructure and technology challenges and opportunities. The Group’s objective is to achieve best practice where necessary and create efficiencies in respect of operational matters.

Focusing on UMR implementation for Phases 5 and 6, custodians (triparty and third party) will work together to develop tools and educational/outreach initiatives for successful Sept 2020 and Sept 2021 implementation. This group is only open to custodian firms and their employees.

This group will identify legal issues relating to digital assets and work to develop documentation for digital assets and crypto-derivatives.

The ISDA Cross-Border Regulatory Working Group will lead responses to several regulatory proposals related to the application of US derivatives laws on cross-border derivatives trading. The SEC proposal is expected to be released in May 2019 and the CFTC proposals are expected to be released by Q4 2019.

This distribution list is responsible for addressing industry compliance and implementation issues related to trade reporting under Canadian regulatory requirements across provinces. The group has been the driving force for work such as the Multi-lateral non-dealer Canadian reporting agreement, regulatory response letters, and reporting discussions with the OSC, MSC, Quebec, BCSC and ASC.

Working Group establishes and drafts the design requirements for FpML and CDM (e.g. Design Authority) as needed for DRR purposes. This Working Group takes in requests from the ISDA DRR Technical Execution Working WG to potentially change the CDM so that the Technical Execution WG is able to proceed with DRR modeling. This Working Group is responsible for communicating/contributing relevant changes to FINOS governance framework for merging into CDM.

ISDA Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) Steering Committee provides oversight and coordination across the ISDA Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) initiative. The Committee, comprised of institutions who have reporting obligations under a particular set of trade reporting rules and intend to adopt the DRR for such reporting rules, determines the scope and priorities for DRR development and maintenance.

This is the primary ISDA data and reporting industry working group dedicated to issues pertaining to data and reporting in Europe, Middle East and Africa. It deals with requirements under a number of regulatory regimes, including MiFID II/MiFIR, and EMIR, amongst other national and regional regimes. The group spearheads the resolution of compliance and implementation issues through coordinated industry discussions and regulatory advocacy.

Industry working group dedicated to addressing industry compliance and implementation challenges related to CFTC reporting. The group determines and coordinates solutions through industry discussions and regulatory advocacy. The group has spearheaded No-Action letters as well as Responses to RFCs.
