This template allows parties to establish variation margin arrangements that meet the requirements of regulations on margin for uncleared swaps in certain jurisdictions (“Covered Margin Regimes”). It is based on the ISDA 2016 Variation Margin Protocol, and includes terms for the FMIA Rules, Hong Kong Rules, Singapore Rules, Australia Rules and India Rules, in addition to the Covered Margin Regimes included in the Protocol at the time of publication (PR Rules, CFTC Rules, Japan Rules, OSFI Rules and EMIR Rules) (each term as defined in the template). Parties using the 2016 Credit Support Annex for Variation Margin (VM) (Title Transfer- English Law) may complete Paragraph 11 of such Credit Support Annex in the manner set forth in this template.
