Streamlining the onboarding process for segregated accounts will not only reduce resources and costs but will improve operational efficiencies and decrease counterparty and custodian risks. In this session, firms will learn how to implement a comprehensive program to onboard custodians for non-cleared margin requirements and other necessary segregated accounts, including both triparty and third-party segregated structures. Industry experts will consider relationship management, technology, know-your-customer/compliance and documentation tactics.
The session will conclude with a demonstration of how industry services and processes are being used to improve the custodial onboarding process.
